The Guatemala GPS Map is a simple, accurate and entirely offline GPS navigation app for iPhone or iPad 3G.
All map data and app features are stored within your device, allowing you to use the app and explore freely without the worry of expensive data charges from your mobile carrier.

Note: Youll need to be located within the maps coverage area for all features of the app (e.g., location pinpointing, navigation) to work properly. Default location is used while outside country boundary.

This is easily the worst, most useless, terrible piece of rubbish posing as an app I have yet had the misfortune to buy. It requires the phone to be connected to the network and will not work with a GPS like the Magellan Toughcase. A total waste of money.
The map is slow to move and pan plus it is always freezing. Had the gps shut down several times. No speech. Wont buy any other maps from this company.
The software calculation is very slow, it does not show on the navigation the road you are driving on, the distance to destination is not accurate. For example, we were driving from one city to another that is a straight driving on a main road (interstate) and the distance was 100km, but the gps was showing 177km and it was asking to turn lefts and rights on places where there were no left or right entrances. The only feature I saw working fine was the speed. I am now using Wase and it is free, fast, and accurate. The cellphone data plans in Guatemala are not expensive. Therefore, I am totally disappointed with this application and Apple to allow this application in their App. store.
This app is horrible. I live in Quetzaltenango, second largest city in the country and this app has almost nothing for it. I want my money back!
I just downloaded this to an iPnone 4 and can tell you it is SUPER SLOW and almost nonresponsive. most of the street names are missing. Seems like a total waste of money. Version 3
